A popular pressure massage that focuses on the build-up of stress and muscle tension in all areas around the neck, shoulders, and across the lumber region (lower back) Head massage is also offered
Full Body Massage (60 mins / 90 mins)
This massage treatment covers the back, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, arms and head. It can be adapted to focus on certain areas of the body and with a pressure that suits you.
Deep Tissue Massage
A therapeutic massage concentrating on the deep layers of muscle and fascia in the body. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and areas such as neck , sore shoulders , lower back pain and leg muscle tightness. The massage provides a deeper pressure which can be adapted to your preference.
Hot Stones Massage
A deeply relaxing treatment using smooth heated basalt stones as either an extension of the therapists hands whilst massaging or placing them on the body. The volcanic basalt stones have a high iron content which helps the stones retain heat during massage. The treatment can be both deeply relaxing as well as energising. If your muscles are extremely tight the heated stones provide the extra relaxation you need in releasing tension without discomfort.
Indian Head Massage
This treatment strives to restore balance and inner harmony to the mind, body and spirit. A wonderful healing treatment based upon the Ayurvedic system of healing which has been used in India for thousands of years.
The treatment uses various massage movements focusing on releasing stress and tension from the the muscles and joints of the shoulders, neck, scalp and face. These areas are important energy centres in the body where tension accumulates and Indian Head massage is a gentle form of energy balancing working on the three upper chakras (energy centres). This may create a deep sense of peace, calmness and clarity.

My0fascial Release
What is Fascia?
Surrounding and connecting all the soft tissues of the body is fascia. It is a weblike structure that when healthy and working efficiently is fluid filled and springy, allowing all the underlying structures to move and perform at their optimum level. When Fascia isn’t working efficiently it becomes ‘stuck’ over the underlying soft tissues which in turn prevents them from working properly. There are many things that can affect the efficient working of the fascia in the body, from emotional trauma, repetitive strain or surgery and injury. It can be one or many of these things that someone can be affected by and when the fascia becomes damaged, dehydrated and ‘sticky’, it can lead to pain.
A bit about Myofascial release treatments
Myofascial Releases is a gentle treatment that aims to ‘unstick’ the fascia. Techniques are used to help unravel the damaged fascia and allow it to become fluid filled and springy again. Although the treatment is gentle and slow in comparison to some other body work, it has the ability to affect the deeper tissues and helps to restore blood flow, movement and flexibility and therefore help reduce pain.

I have been coming to Suzie for around a year and a half now. Her consultations are holistic and un-rushed. You feel as though you are suspended in a bubble of tranquility and peace and leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to face the world again.
Always grateful
I have been going to Suzie at The Therapy Room for over three years. She is very understanding and when I have back issues she carefully plans the massage to release tension and relax my muscles. The room, ambiance and variety of aromatherapy oils makes every visit a calming and relaxing experience. I highly recommend
I have a regular treatment at the Therapy Room and have been going there for a number of years. Suzie has created a great atmosphere and I always look forward to having my aches and pains disappear. I am more often than not ready for a snooze after my session
Love the whole ambience from the moment I enter the building. I always look forward to having a relaxing massage. The only shame is that it has to come to an end!
My wife and daughters have a massage with Suzie on a regular basis and that’s ok – it’s a girl thing isn’t it. Wrong, I now also go for a massage with Suzie on a regular basis. I find it so relaxing, stress relieving and I come away feeling so good knowing I’m helping look after my wellbeing.
The Therapy Room is a really nice space and its ambience is calm and welcoming. The Rooms are spacious and impeccably clean and you never feel hurried.
Suzie’s treatments are great beacuse she is always responsive to how you are feeling on the day. If you have booked in for a particular kind of massage or treatment she will always check which things you want to focus on and she has a great selection of aromatherpy oils that she matches thoughfully to your preferences.
I usually feel myself start to unwind as soon as I press the buzzer for my appointment.
